The Children's Den Story

A Foundation of Faith and Hard Work

The story of Children's Den Inclusive Nursery and Primary School is one of humble beginnings and extraordinary growth. Founded in the second term of 2019, the school opened its doors with a clear mission: to create a space where every child belongs.

The journey began with just six pioneers. Among them was our very first learner, Baby Bill Edward, the son of one of our Directors, Dr Josephine Ssirimuzaawo. From day one, the school was run with the care and attention of a home.

In those early days, leadership meant being on the ground. The school started with a dedicated team of three: Dr Josephine Ssirimuzaawo, who served not only as Director but also as the school's primary driver and the reading teacher for the Baby Class, alongside founding educators Teacher Norah Nabirye and Teacher Margaret, who helped establish our standards of excellence and nurturing care.

What began with a Director driving the van and teaching phonics in the Baby Class has blossomed into a comprehensive Day and Boarding school. Today we are a leading inclusive institution, preparing our first ever Primary Seven candidate class for the future.
